Putney Green School and Apartments win Bronze at CCS National Site Awards
On 23rd May 2017, Durkan was acknowledged by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) as a 10 Year Longevity Partner.
Jim Briggs, Managing Director at Durkan said, “Being a partner of the Considerate Constructors Scheme is a role that we take seriously as a developer and contractor.
“Durkan have been working at the heart of local communities since our foundation in 1970 and recognise the impact construction sites can have on those in the neighbouring area. Registering our sites with the CCS demonstrates our commitment to encourage performance beyond statutory regulations and improve the image of construction.”
In April 2017, the National Site Awards saw Putney Green School and Apartments receive two Bronze Awards for positive relations with local community groups. This marked the first CCS National Site award for one of Durkan’s own developments and is a strong statement of the Company’s commitment to best practice.
