Dujardin Mews and London Borough of Enfield win at RIBA London Awards

Project architects and client were celebrating at the RIBA London Awards in May 2017 as our development of 38 new affordable homes received two awards at this prestigious event.

Judges' feedback states, "The project achieves its ambition to maximize the site while respecting the local townscape and delivers high quality, exemplar housing for Enfield and the local community."

As recipients of RIBA London's Client of the Year Award, the London Borough of Enfield has been recognised for the key role that a client plays in the creation of fine architecture. Judges praised the Borough for, "their willingness to invest in quality, their openness to the design team’s expertise and communication with the local community and prospective tenants is commendable."

Durjardin Mews is the first council-led, social housing delivered by the local borough of Enfield in 40 years. It forms the first phase of the wider regeneration of Ponders End, providing replacement homes for residents of the nearby Alma Estate.
