The development will provide a mix of one, two and three bedroom homes within two buildings, set around a public courtyard.  It will deliver 354 much-needed homes for the local community, with close to a third of these providing affordable rent or shared ownership opportunities.

Fraser Wells, Managing Director of Housing Partnerships at Durkan said "We are delighted to be celebrating another milestone on such an exciting development.  We have carefully progressed to deliver a scheme which is right for the local area.  This has involved close collaboration between each of the partners involved and Redbridge Council.  We're proud of what's been achieved at BMS so far and look forward to putting the finishing touches to the development."

"The M&G team are delighted to work with Durkan, Redbridge Council and Southern Housing Group in the development of the building, the regeneration of the area and funding the creation of well built quality homes.  With the arrival of Crossrail the location fits well with our residential strategy and we hope this is the first of future collaborations with Durkan" said Alex Greaves, Fund Manager M&G.

Construction is expected to be fully completed on the site by Spring 2020.
