Daniel Durkan

EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Danny has been leading the business since the retirement of his father - and company founder - William Durkan in 2010.

As Executive Chairman, Danny has a hands-on approach developing strategies to further grow the business through joint ventures, new build housing developments and the private rental sector.

Ronan Murphy

GROUP CEO

As a specialist in property and infrastructure Ronan has a strong track record in residential investment, development and construction.

Recently appointed as Group CEO Ronan has been integral to the formation of Durkan's new business plan and is leading the push to meet its ambitious targets.

Jim Briggs

MANAGING DIRECTOR CONSTRUCTION

Jim has extensive experience from across the construction process. Since joining Durkan as a trainee surveyor in 1978, he has gained experience in various roles including surveying, estimating, design coordination and contract management. 

As Managing Director, Jim oversees business development, bid procurement, operational performance and company profitability.

Bill Beyzade

Managing Director Housebuilding

Bill brings a broad base of experience to his role with Durkan.  Most recently he was the Land & Planning Director for CALA Homes and has also held similar roles with Taylor Wimpey and Bryant Homes.  He has an outstanding track record in identifying, acquiring and developing great sites for new homes.

His responsibility is to further develop Durkan's Housebuilding Division to deliver high quality new homes and communities in the Northern Home Counties. 

Paul Kimber

Group Finance Director

Paul brings an invaluable depth of sector knowledge to Durkan having previously worked for several mixed use developers, most notably as Finance Director of the City Division of St. George.  Having started his career in Ernst & Young's Real Estate practice, Paul moved into Real Estate fund management for a sovereign wealth fund before joining St. George. 

He will work closely with Durkan's senior management team to expand Durkan's site development and partnerships division, building a strong pipeline of land acquisitions and moving them through the development process.

Shane Rooney

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

Shane has a strong commercial approach to business and over 27 years’ experience in construction.

As Commercial Director, Shane is responsible for overseeing the commercial functions of surveying and procurement with the aim to achieve the best combination of value, quality and sustainability to meet customer requirements.

Ian Cresswell

DIRECTOR FOR HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL & QUALITY MANAGEMENT

With over 20 years’ safety leadership experience, Ian has a passion for the delivery and continual improvement of all HSE&Q programs and initiatives.

Ian is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our UKAS accredited management systems and embeds the highest standards into our business to instil a pro-active approach towards safety.

Dean Martin

CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR

Dean started as an apprentice and has worked his way up to Construction Director overseeing contracts up to a value of £100 million.

He is responsible for all Durkan new build and refurbishment contracts and ensures the end product is achieved with the required safety, quality, cost certainty & satisfaction that our customers demand.

Jason Smith

Technical Director

Jason is a design expert with almost 20 years’ experience working in the housing sector.  A former Technical Director at St James Group and Design Director at Mace, he is an expert in the technical innovations that are transforming housebuilding.

His role is to ensure Durkan’s practical operations run smoothly, keeping abreast of activity across our industry and guaranteeing Durkan’s developments are designed in the best possible way.
