Durkan and East End Homes completed works at English, Eric & Treby in February 2017. Details of the works included and how to report defects are included below. 

Summary of Improvement Works

  • Removal of asbestos tiles and soffit materials to the outside of the building

  • Upgraded the walls with rendered insulation to meet the current building regulations with a guarantee of 10 years

  • Installed new UPVC windows which meet current building regulations and are guaranteed for 10 years

  • Installed new roof coverings which meet current building regulation and are guaranteed for 20 years

  • Renewed the asphalt surfacing to the private balconies

  • Applied surface coating systems to private & communal walkways

  • Renewed the walkway balustrades to match the designs on the adjoin new blocks

  • Renewed the landlords electrical distribution cabling and the landlord lighting

We hope you are happy with the improvements in your home. If you do have an issue that needs to be resolved please take the steps outlined below. 

Defect reporting procedure after completion
After completion of your property, any defects relating to our works should be reported to East End Homes, who will notify Durkan of the defect. We will then contact you to make arrangements to carry out any necessary additional work that may be required.

12 months after works have been completed
After the 12 Months Defects Period your windows will be covered by the 10 year Guarantee and any on-going defects or repairs are to be reported to East End Homes.
